High Line Essential Info.

The High Line runs from Gansevoort to 34th Street, a distance of around a mile-and-a-half. To stay updated, sign up for Friends of the High Line’s newsletter. For more information visit the official website at TheHighLine.org.

THE PARK IS OPEN:

December 1 – March 31: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
April 1 – May 31: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
June 1 – September 30: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
October 1 to November 30: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

The Interim Walkway at High Line at the Rail Yards is open from 7:00 AM until dusk, or thereabouts

On certain parade days and holidays — July 4, Gay Pride, Halloween — where there are large numbers of people in the West Village and West Chelsea, the park closes early; it also closes during storms and threatening weather. Check the Friends of the High Line Twitter feed for constantly updated info.: @highlinenyc

SMOKING: Not allowed here or in any NYC park. And yes, that applies to pipes, e-cigs & stogies.
DOGS: Nope, sorry. But some sneak on anyway.

Located in the Chelsea Passage at 16th Street. HOURS: April 18-30 between 10:15am – 5:30pm;
May to October: 10am – 6pm
